Operation Healthy Vote is here again – and it has never been more important for you to make your vote count than it is now in 2019!

This year, hospitals and healthcare workers have the opportunity to shape the direction of the future of healthcare in our state for the next decade.

Critical issues that affect your hospital will be determined by the governor, lieutenant governor, and legislators elected this year. Your voice and your vote represent the value of professional, quality, and accessible healthcare in your hospital for your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your community.

Your informed voice and vote are powerful tools and deserve to be heard. Make sure you are registered to vote, know where your polling place is, and know the issues!

Do you need to register to vote? Fill out this voter registration form. Fax it or e-mail it to Shawn Rossi at (601) 368-3200 or srossi@mhanet.org. We will mail it in for you.  (If you’re not sure if you are registered, find out here. You can update your address online here.)

Hospital employees don’t have 9-to-5 schedules. If you cannot vote in person, be sure to vote absentee. For the August 6 primary election, absentee voting begins on June 23! For more information, call the Secretary of State’s Election Hotline at (800) 829-6786 or visit www.yallvote.sos.ms.gov. Find your polling place here.
